I Hear Crickets in Here

Posted: February 2, 2013 in Uncategorized

I think it’s been years since I last updated. Just tonight I stumbled across my blog on Google and decided to take a little gander… and WOW. I am one weird chick right? Even I was weirded out by the odd mixture of death, TMI and sewing. …ok so moving on, I’m hoping I find time to update all the exciting things that’s been going on, like… for example… oh I don’t know, the fact that I just graduated fashion school?!! Or that I recently bought the elusive and very rare Union Special Edge Hemmer for $6,000? Or that my dog Bubba is still alive? How about that I’ve sold some of my gentlemen proper? (Please see My Gentlemen).

One sad thing that has happened is my school, Fashion Careers College has just closed it’s doors after 35 years here in San Diego. I was very upset to hear the news. Now all we have left is FIDM which is barely affordable and The Art Institute, which I would highly recommend against ever going to for a fashion degree. I strictly base this opinion based on one personal experience with them and all the bad reviews I have read about them online.

In case I didn’t mention it 100 times, I sponsor a DJ out of LA named Brazzabelle. We have the most fun designing for her. Our last creation for her is right here. Click the pic to go to her page.
